I keep danios and tetras. As treats they have enjoyed pieces of live meal worms, wax worms and earthworms (red worms they call them around here). What about the common house fly? Any harm in catching a couple and throwing them in the aquarium? Same question as to mosquitoes. I know the danios would attack them and the serpae tetras finish them off but would these live foods harm my fish?

House flies might be a bit big for few of the fishes. But if they can eat, guess it is good food

Sometimes I feed them to my Aplocheilus lineatus, Puntius fasciatus and Puntius singhala.
For most of my other fishes the house flies are a bit too big.
