    My assistant having spent an hour practicing his skill at using the Cast Net, dashed of to the small river to the North of the Lake. This stream is part of the San Pedro drainage system.

    At nightfall I was presented with a 10 inch Pleco, the same species as is found in the San Jose Park.
    Now we know the source of the fish in San Jose, employed as janitors to keep the water feature clean.
