    These are all posted with permission from Zhou Hang (thank you, sir) and copyrighted to him. From his latest trip to Guangxi – some will have seen these on FB already but they’re well worth a second look.

    Rhinogobius cf. filamentosus

    Rhinogobius cf. duospilus

    Sinocyclocheilus microphthalmus – a cave-dwelling cyprinid

    Paraprotomyzon bamaensis

    Type locality of P. bamaensis

    Beaufortia sp. – Zhou’s excited about this one as it appears to be new

    Philypnus chalmersi

    Beaufortia pingi

    What will be the holotype of a currently undescribed Opsariichthys sp.

    Wow the gobies and loaches are awesome. I really like the Paraprotomyzon bamaensis and the Rhinogobius cf. filamentosus.
