    Hey

Recently purchased a trio of Garra annandalei. I have, as many of you know, kept a number of Garra species in the past, so expected these fish to be active, but have to admit that they are, currently, the most ‘manic’ Garra specie I have come across – watching them can make you dizzy.

Have any fellow SF members kept this specie?

    Regards David

    Hey

Well as nobody else seems to have had this specie had better start adding updates to this thread.

The trio have, finally, started to settle down, although their energy level remains very high. They like to show their characin companions that they are present – but have done no ‘fin nipping’ etc.

The trio have formed a strict ‘pecking order’. They eat bloodworms, flaked food and granular foods to excess. This leaves them with a ‘bloated’ appearance, but their activity levels soon return their weight to ‘normal’.

    More to follow.

    Regards David

    Hey Mark

I should have mentioned that these fish are sold as Saty Garra, in reference to their synonym name Garra satyendranathis.
