    Hello all!

    Not sure if it is possible yet when they are this sice but anyone got an idea what geophagus this might be?

    I got them as G. sp. Bahia red!

    They are “surinamensoids”, definitely not Bahia Red which are part of the brasiliensis group.

    The pattern of dark vertical bars on the flanks of the fish suggest this to be G. abalios, but it is very difficult to identify such young specimens.

    Thanks guys! I suspected that it wasn´t Bahia Red. I´ll update with new Pictures when they are bigger.
