    thought i would have a go at something a bit different, and with the gobies being a hot topic at the moment, i couldn’t resist these, anyone know what they are?

    i picked up 8, some smaller and less colourful, perhaps at least one is a female. i may get a few more to increase my odds of both sexes.
    thanks for the link Matt, very interesting reading. i’ll have to arrange the tank a bit more to their liking.

    They should be pretty easy to sex. I have seen one very small fish in the shop, just a bit over an inch, that I wasn’t sure about. Most are pretty distinct.
    I think they’d appreciate a finer substrate, they really like to burrow.

    thanks for the link, will read it asap. mine are housed with some nice show guppies on a sandy substrate. they have all settled in well, i picked up the remaining 3. a couple are small, so i wait and see if any look like females.
