    Hi Heidi

    it’s quite common for nudibranchs to hide away in live rock and coral and only appear after a while in your tank. Over the weeks, months and years you will discover a lot of new stuff and it could include amphipods, shrimps, crabs… even octopuses have been known to just appear one day but that is the beauty of live rock.

    I wouldn’t worry about the slug unless you see it actually eating a coral. It will probably just go about its business and disappear one day.
