I’m off on another wee jaunt tomorrow morning, probably the last for a while. This time it’s Israel where the plan is to visit Aphanius habitats around the Dead Sea, Jordan River basin, and in other parts of the country. Officially there are just two species (A. mento and A. richardsoni) but there should be a few different colour forms plus some other interesting stuff including GarraOxynoemacheilus, Astatotilapia, and (hopefully)Tristramella. Anyway, let’s see what we find. :)
