Don’t suppose anyone knows about keeping or has kept this one? Have been trying to source it for a while now but seems to be largely inaccessable.

Did it make it into the hobby overseas? I found pictures from Heiko Bleher of a collection trip within the last few years but not sure if they were ever exported or kept.

I believe these are protected in Australia and as such collection is illegal. No idea if any made it into the hobby though, sorry.

    Awesome fish though!

Not sure if they are actually, the law is very convoluted but I can’t find anything that says they are a no take species. Of course it’s tricky because they occur mainly in national park (no take zones), but as a species seem to be legal to collect (providing one has a fishing permit etc).
