I must add that the fish did have a nice orange rim on the dorsal before I put it into a photo tank!

Very nice! Any idea if they’re from Peninsular Malaysia or Borneo Colin?

    Lucky guy. <img src="style_emoticons//smile.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:)” border=”0″ alt=”smile.gif” /> How many did you bring in?

Reason I asked is because if it’s from P. Malaysia it could be a form of what some refer to as C. limbata?

Nasty as in aggressive with one another Rob? They’re very cute but not sure about the ‘jet black’ moniker!

I only had them a couple days and they were in a tank full of pipes and caves. They were hunting each other and nipping tails straight away.

yeah, not really jet black is it… dont suppose that “kinda dark gachua” sounds as good in a dealer’s tank though <img src="style_emoticons//smile.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:)” border=”0″ alt=”smile.gif” />

    hi
yes matt these are showing serious amounts of aggression towards each other.
and at such a small size, which by the way they are eating it wont be long before these start to grow.
as for the black yeah i cant see it either, but they are still small,so we will see over time.
