Was in Pier Aquatics earlier, saw a tankful of a Melanocharacidium species, superb little fish, anyone had any experience of these? Is care just like normal Characidium? I have to admit to being a sucker for the darter characins, even if they are not the most aesthetically-pleasing of fish to most people.

No, from Peru I’d imagine. I’ve only guessing when calling them Melanocharacidium because they’re a black Characidium, there may be more rays in the dorsal fin than usual Characidium. We might get a few, if we can decide where they might go.
