Very nice. It’s been a couple of years since I saw these anywhere. The most beautiful Microctenopoma in my opinion 🙂

Very nice Herve! Are the males aggressive with one another?

The male breeding just chase the other fish from his territory. No fight nothing.I keep them in a small tank of 45*33*25.I will change for a bigger tank or split in two the group. What is amazing is that the male get the two females in same time to lay eggs then chase them and keep the nest for 24hrs then an other 24 hrs the fry and after that ignore everything

Some pics during the reproduction when the male changes its color to a dark green with gold marks.Absolutly wonderful.Even the female get dark.

It is amazing to watch the tiny fry of about 1 mm swimming around the head of the father without being eaten
