I’ve been following a new, similar, interest for several months now. It’s not something to jump into without research so I have been reading and asking questions on the appropriate forums for 3 or 4 months and now have my first specimens! Quarantine is also recommended and these have been q’d for a month and tested for the 2 most common ailments, chytrid fungus and ranavirus with negative results. I released them today into their new home. A 25 gallon tank that’s been up and running for 2 months now. They’re busy exploring it’s boundaries. These are Oophaga pumilio “Siquirres”, Siquirres is a location of origin in Costa Rica. They’re 6-7 month old juveniles. Any other froggers here?

The plants are growing slowly. Frog poop should help!

Thanks Matt. I purchased 3 unsexed juveniles. There’s an obvious pair already and not sure about the third.

They look really good, feeding on pinhead crickets etc.?

Staple is wingless melanogaster fruit flies that are dusted with calcium/vitamin supplements. The tank is seeded with various sp. of springtails & isopods that they also feed on. I think pinheads are too large for these.
