The measurements of my tank are 32″x12″x16″.

I use tap water: pH 8.5, GH 10, KH 12.

Its population consists of Neolamprologus multifasciatus: 1 male (1.4″), 2 females (1″). They do not seem to grow anymore.

These days my online fish supplier offers (Neo)Lamprologus ornatipinnis (1.4″ juveniles) real cheap.

Would it be a good idea to get one male ornatipinnis with 2-3 females and add them to the 32″x12″ setup?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
