    Where’s that quote from Stefan? The E. cisalpinus description is available here for those able to read Italian. It does look like the authors of this new paper either weren’t aware of or disregarded it?

    From Worldfish SCI, that lists new taxa. Thought I’d sling it in there. What a waste of work that be, if they are synonyms.
