They are a little over 5″ but certainly in good condition

These are my all time favorite botias. So beautiful!! I have two myself, and now must go and see if they are boys or girls. Is there a reason why fish #1 has a black triangle on his dorsal and fish 2 does not?

The dorsal markings vary quite a bit as do the tail markings, its just one of those variable things like the body markings. I am not holding out much hope on the spawning front but I have done it once so it would be nice for it to happen again

Looking forward to seeing loach fry pics! Mine has cream colored lips and very bright yellow markings, so I have a feeling she is not full grown yet…
