    Robert it is a Channa orientalis ‘Kottawa forest – A’. These came from Colin I finally have a confirmed pair. Now time to wait and see when the action starts.

    Hi Matt,

    The Mesonemacheilus was collected in the Kodagu Dist. of Karnataka.

    Here is the full body shot of the Channa. Not a great pic though.

    Hi Robert,

    They are being exported but only 25 fish have been sent till now. I have not agreed to supply these fish in larger numbers as they come from a very small pond and are not found anywhere else so it just might be the case of a mutation that is only there. So till the time I do not have 4-5 breeding pairs these will have to wait for getting exported en mass. Since I am the only person who has this location it helps.
