    Guessing these will start to show up elsewhere around the Mediterranean basin before long. Confused

    Not good. I’ve seen those things do quite a number to the heroine cichlids in a good portion of Central America. I’m sure they’ll be just as problematic elsewhere.

    I’ve a friend who travels to Israel regularly and she says the place mentioned in this study is a dumping ground for unwanted aquarium fish. Other species found there inlcude alligator gar, piranha,snakeheads and lots of smaller species.

    The plecos are apparently spreading through Jordanian waters as well. Yell
