    Hi,

Maybe it’s crazy but some times ago I’ve started to collect “non life loaches” eg this sweet Cobitis biwae ordered in Hong kong via ebay.

No, I don’t like stamps! But stamps with Cobitis (or other loaches) is a complete other thing – that’s cool :)

And this is interesting, not sure what it is exactly, but it’s an envelope with some stamp about the first international search expedition for Romanichthys valsanicola. In the envelope was a piece of paper with a few infos about the expedition. On this expedition were also found some Sabanejewia (Gerhard Ott got them later).

    Cheers,

    Thomas

Very nice Thomas! That last piece is especially interesting. Where would you find something like that?

    Hi Thomas,

if we hadn’t known already, now we definitely do! “You certainly love your loaches!” :-D

I think it’s cool! I had a similar collection some 20 years back. “Non-live” reptiles on stamps, coins and little figurines too! :-)

As Jim said, that envelope is really something special!

    It seems so, Rüdiger 😀

Most are from stamps.delcampe.net. Even the envelope, I bought it from a spanish seller, 7 Euro incl. postage.

This is the inside paper, don’t know if the video really realised was. Would be surely great to watch it!

And no loaches, but cool fishes, I think. Especially the Zingel and Umbra

Here is a Misgurnus coin, but I’m to stingy to buy it…
