If you mena they’ve eaten their own fry, I am sure that’s true. They can produce fry at any minute of day or night once they’ve been “snuggled” by males. My platy’s did that untill I had to remove the females (I have 2 Micky mouse platy’s) from the 60 l. tank. They are still reproducing, but not just micky’s, I have seen at least two albino’s and one black tuxedo, along with dozens of orange ones and even more dozens of micky’s.

Cool Keith I’ve never seen those before. Is it a new strain?

stunning arn’t they. they are called tiger platies up here. bleeding hearts have a red mark in the centre of the body much like the bleeding heart tetra. unfortunately, the shop only got males in, so no good getting any.
can do a swap if we get fry, you up for that mate.
