    Good afternoon everybody.

On my regular Friday trip to purchase live food for the Weekend, I came across two lonely fellers labled P. anguillaris. I bagged them but do have a hard time believing they actually are P. anguillaris. Could it be P. oblongata?

They do not like to have their photo taken and obviously hide in the darkest corner of the tank but perhaps somebody can help id them from the pics?

    Regards

    R.

Certainly looks like P. oblonga Rudi.

    Thanx Matt,

I thought so. I was a bit unsure because until today both specimen showed a very light, almost white, ventral third of the body. Will have a look tomorrow if I can find another 4 or 5 specimens.

And I don’t have a clue what I was thinking to write ‘oblongata’ instead of ‘oblonga’. 😀

    Regards

    R.
