    Hey,

Just wondering, but do you plan to upsize the tank as the Piranha gets bigger? As I always thought that most species, if not all required a bigger tank ?

the tank its ok for a ser. compressus. it’s final size is about 15cm.

    as you can see 100 lit for only one fish (15cm) it’s realy nice!!! /thumbs_up.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”” border=”0″ alt=”thumbs_up.gif” />

Some of the smaller Serrasalmus seem to do better in smaller tanks. My maculatus was about 7″SL and in a 30″ x 15″ x 18″ tank which seemed too small, but when I moved it into a 4′ x 18″ x 18″ it became really skittish and hid all the time. In the smaller tank it was very confident and would try to bite you through the glass (Dunc will attest to this) so I moved it back and it regained its bad attitude immediately.

Edit: I’d love to see a pic of that compressus in all its glory i.e. not obscured by plants.
