    hi peeps
i went to my good mate Andy rushworths house to take a few shots of his fish, now this fish he got of a lad in darwen who likes biggish fish, so here’s a couple of pics of it.

it has that great sickle dorsal but according to FB this fish grows to 16 inches, which is huge.
i’d love to see one at that size though, then that dorsal would really be impressive.
at the mo they’re housed in his 8 foot tank with plenty of width in the tank for growth.
personally it’s not my cup of malt, what do you lads think.?

as much as you want bud, i’ll give Andy a ring as i just know the basics like where it’s from, max size, compatability.

I was actually wondering if they keep that dorsal as adults. I’ll ask you some more stuff later!

These are quite shy fish , though since i added a group of five Poropuntius they have been more active , temprement wise they are superb , a very undemanding fish , no aggresion whatsoever , I wish I’d got a couple more just to make them more confident , they are pretty good eaters BUT that would be expected from a fish with their growing potential !

Great pics as always by Mick
