Is it just me or are Zootaxa doing more open access stuff these days?

The journal doesn’t decide upon open access; it’s the author(s) that do and pay considerably more for their publication. Journals offering the possibility do encourage it because open access papers are read more often.

By the way Stefan, what happened to your avatar? Looks like a roadkill Badis.
