Our saltwater shrimp is probably Farfantepenaeus aztecus the white shrimp, found just about everywhere. This example is 5 inches from the mouth to the middle of the back so not exactly a shrimp /laugh.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”” border=”0″ alt=”laugh.gif” />
I get to eat the exhibits of course.

The Shrimp (Prawns) served scampi style are OK but I prefer the real Scampi found in your end of the Mediterranean.

Crabs are tasty but take so long to prepare.

Only the freshwater crab that you have seen.
They are abundant as juveniles hidden under rocks. I have not researched for the species yet so do not know how large they become. However adults would only be found in remote parts of the Lake.

That crab looks gorgeous, would be nice in a Thai green curry, just had my breakfast but I’m hungry again after seeing that….
