I have a friend who called the other day and said she knew someone that has a 15g tank that was over stocked and decided not to care for the fish anymore. He unplugged everything and quit cleaning or feeding the tank. Knowing that I love my fish and had a few tanks, she called me to see if I would take the lone survivor. An angelfish about the size of her palm. I haven’t seen the fish in person, but I do have a 29 gallon tank that has some room. All that’s in there now are about 12 harlequin rasboras, and six green cories. So knowing the fish would be flushed, I said I’d take it. What I want to know is if I’m going to be able to keep this guy in the tank, or if the tank is too small for him, and he won’t be better off. I have four other tanks that are fully stocked or just aren’t the right fit for an angel. Any suggestions would be very welcome. I’ve never had angels before and honestly never really wanted them, but I feel like I have to rescue this poor creature. Thanks for any input!
