    That elliotti has inspired me to review my decision to steer away from cichlids in the future I think!

    I have a Nikon D70s, got it second hand at the right price on a photography forum,
    it’s a great camera but has a lot of bells and whistles to fathom out.

    If you are looking for a decent camera at the right price look on e-bay for
    a Fugi Finepix S7000, they don’t make them any more but they are a top
    of the range point and shoot with a great macro feature ideal for fish pics.
    I would offer you my old one but the mode select button is sticking a bit
    and although it works perfectly I wouldn’t be happy doing it.
