I was watching my tinanti while in bed last night and noticed that the female seemed to have an ovipositer sticking out a little… unfortunately i think she was a lil embarrassed and covered up when i got my camera so no pics sorry. the weird thing is though that the male hid inside the cave and she used her body to cover the entrance like what i would expect for the male to do while fertilising eggs in other cave spawners (the female did seem to have rather long dorsal extensions but it was definitely a male inside as he was bigger, uglier and had the big hump whereas ‘she’ had the flat head). Any thoughts anyone?
