    Grettings,

I am from Brasil and, besides a awesome fauna we have, a serious fish database is only available in english! Recently I found a stunning specie among some Cardinals on a Pet Shop. After a short discussion with other aquarists, we suspected it was a H. Rodwayi  but…

    1) I have never heard about a Rodwayi caught on Rio Negro were all Cardinals came from, and

    2) Its solid Blue eyes, not well show in this picture, and its body shape increase our doubts

    Could some one help us???

Thanks a lot, our best regards!!

It’s hard to see but H. rodwayi should have an adipose fin. Has this specimen?
