    Betta akarensis, Regan 1910

    Collected from Marudi,Sarawak ie the place where you can find betta macrostoma.

    About 4.5 inches plus TL.Fairly aggressive but easy to keep and spawn.

    Prefer somewhat subdue lighting with bogwood and low light loving plants.

    Sweet pics, and nice fish. Also interesting to hear about the catching methods, I thought people used nets, mostly.
