Nice young male nicaraguensis. Do you have females?

I’ve bred both the costa rica and lake nicaragua variants. Do they have both available where you are? The turquoise in the Costa Ricans is awesome!

Biggest difference I noted from the two variants was more turqouise/blue in the costa rican variants while the Lake variants females were significantly smaller and more orange and red in color. A nice fish totally, my past males topped out around 10 inches and had steep head humps.
The way I always sexed them when younger was the spots in the fins on the males.

    Nice photos <img src="style_emoticons//thumbs_up.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”” border=”0″ alt=”thumbs_up.gif” /> , the Ellioti is awesome. I’ve experimented with them as well!
