    Good evening everybody, you ask why this research …
    All simply, I am now preparing a topic on the futur barrage of the river Congo.

    Many fish species will disappear and it is important to know if they are reproduced.

    The few Zaire (Congo) River fish I have are:-
    4x Steatocranus casuarius (had a batch of 14 fry, 13 made it to 8 months and then passed on)
    1x Synodontis brichardi
    1x Synodontis decora

    I have Barbus candens and Barbus hulstaerti. Not sure if they are found in The Congo itself though.

    Yes, but I cannot tell you if the dam built upstream ‘ll disrupt what is below the dam.

    However, it is interesting to set up an information on the fish habitat.
