I want to set up a 60 litre tank 610 x 310 x 370h as a river tank, with fast flowing water. I don’t think the filter that comes with the tank is much use for fast flowing, so I was wondering if my old Fluval U2 would be better.

If not which filter would you recommend 😕

I would opt for an external filter which offers much better filtration (Fluval 105).

A small powerhead would be another way to provide current, although this means an additional item in the tank as well as the filter inlet/outlet.

Or you could go the whole hog and build a river tank manifold.
