As per topic description really. I’m after a couple of pairs of wild or as close as possible fish. Does anyone know where I can locate any please. I’m based in Derbyshire but prepared to travel if neccesary.

An equally apt question might be – wild Betta splendens, what does it look like? As far as I’m aware no-one really knows since domesticated forms have been mixed with wild in situ for years.

Would love to be corrected, mind…

A very sad state of affairs really.

Still, I fancy something as ‘close to wild’ as I can rather than some of the domesticated strains you see. From an aesthetics point of view. There is a transhipper dealing in thai fish just a few miles from my office it appears. I’ll email her and see what she can come up with. /sad.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:(” border=”0″ alt=”sad.gif” />
