    well, it’s been a while didnt post up something here. Been quite busy with my new lfs..
    Here’s some wild bettas photos, Betta stigmosa from Terengganu, and Betta kuehnei from North Malaysia/South Thailand.

    Aaargh I’ll have to dig out my papers over the weekend and work out how B. kuehnei differs from B. lehi, etc. now. Great photos Harn!

    Haha.. same here too, Colin. Anyway Matt, i was told the clear difference between kuehnei and pugnax only, which is the blue mask on the face/cheek. Others.. im not too sure. Good luck researching XD

    Great shots! Nice fish!! I’m really starting to like wild bettas. How far north do these range in Thailand?

    Thanks harnsheng. I lived in Nakhon sri Thammarat for awhile but unfortunately, wasn’t keeping fish at the time. I often wonder what I missed in all those lovely little streams & waterfalls!
