I think so yes, i’m going for 6-7 turnover. And sorry for repeating this , but where should i place the streamer? As a manifold only use one direction flow it makes most sense to place it on the return side? Or should i just keep it as it is?

I will try some sand today.

Looks fine to me. It’s hard to tell how much current there is from the vid. I’m not a fan of the river tank manifold. I built one years ago and eventually tore it down. I’d just add another powerhead if you want more movement.

    Hi.

Ok. Yeah that would be so much easier and a cheaper choice. So if that works good enought i see no need to build a manifold.

I keep the return pump on 100% power in the vid, around 317 gph. And the tunze is 1175 gph. So lets say i go with one more streamer, should i place both on the return side or where i have the streamer placed in the vid?

    Thanks for the help.

This store are willing to shipp to me and have several species. I’ve tried 6 online stores and got 1 yes, that is not so bad.

I haven’t decided for which Rhinogobius species yet, but from my reeding they seem to have about the same care as the 3 mentioned in this thread. For those interrested..

I like this one as well. “Schismatogobius roxas” They are however very small you know.

Again with who to trust and not. I’ve read alot on ferraqua.de before joining the forum, tho without confirmation from other people it’s hard to know. I’ve been in the  reptile/salamander hobby for 15years and have read so much crapy care info during my days, and when it comes to fish i am actually a total beginner with mostly only some basic aquarium knowledge.

But now after a few ours reading here and talking with you i finally know ferraqua etc is the real deal, and i also know the setup i have in mind will do more than fine for any of these 3 species. So thank you for that!

Nice to hear i can keep gobies without having to bother with salt.

Yeah i’ve read that care sheet several times and was not sure if i should trust that or other sites. Now i know i can.
