Only two people in France and a very few in Germany ,a couple in Italy and less than half a dozen in Asia as far as I know.We have to take great care of the strain as it is a fish almost extinct in the nature because of the destruction of the rain forest for oil palm

No I had 12 adult fish in a tank 50*35*30 cm for almost a year with no problem but no reproduction. In the same tank I have 3 pairs and 3 bubble nest almost all the time since a month. They eat from time to time the fry but you can see tiny fry swimming very close to the adults.Te one of 6/8 mm just hide and come out when feeding BBs or frozen food. They grow up quite fast.

Am just adding a full profile for this species and wondered how you got on with these Herve?

Not too good I lost many of them and have only one pair left that does not grow up very fast.

Me as well Herve! It’s the only one I have not seen in the flesh yet, and I think they look very nice. Do you recall what species exactly it lived with?

Sorry I was with mistertree (Zou Hang) that told me the name that I forgot

The problem is you have eggs of that pest in your culture.Wash it and save the water ,by passing it in a BBs mesh the small worms will pass through so you will have a clean strain for a new culture.I use sphagnum from chile as substrat
