Thanks for your words and the ID note, Matt.

I for one would love to see the paper of those Sinos

    Thanks for your words, everyone.

No better place to ask for an opinion on ID of a hillstream loach than this?

The first inhabitants in this paludarium, sold under “cf breviventralis”.
    Idea of the species, anyone?

I am having a dreamy, deeply affectionate relationship with the concept of this tank.

Thank you for sharing this, sir.

Thank you, Plaamoo, for the nice words and welcome! So nice to see a friendly face. I feel cozy already.

I started making this tank for some Geosesarmids, but as it turned out with a bit narrow land area, I’m having second thoughts. I’m looking for a more aquatic crab, perhaps.

Parathelphusa pantherina could fit the bill. Gotta look into them, whether they are bound to do harm to anything else in the tank or not. And how large they get. And how they are with each other and so on…

Most certainly there will be some hillstreamers. Just waiting for some aufwuchs on those pebbles to happen before dipping them in.

Maybe some gobies would enjoy it there?

I’ll be doing planting for awhile, so in no hurry to stock it, really.

Hey, thanks again for your welcome! I hope I get to contribute to the community, also.
