Thanks Matt. The tall plant that you I think you refer to is Heteranthera zosterifolia. I’ve got this plant in both tanks and they are doing extremely well. Within a week the plant grows to the surface. The only not biotope correct plant I’ve got in this tank is the Nymphaea ezzanoi.

I love D. maculatus so much. That tank looks fantastic.

I’m moving out in January, not sure if I’ll be able to keep any fish, so I’m slowly but surely downsizing to a grand total of 0 fish

He’s also using your favourite species of dither mate – the trusty black neon.

@Matt, I’m not shure if I got some females. I think I got at least two or three females. Some need to grown a bit before I can see the gender. The Black Neons are doing well with the other fish. Next moth the Apistogramma borelli will leave the tank and also the 8 Corydoras melini. The combination D. maculatus and A. borelli is doing very well and there is no fighting between the two species.

@jayuk, thanks @Dunc, The D. maculatus are really the most beautiful dwarfcichlids I’ve had until now.
Over a few moth I will move to a other house and if I get the change I want to combine the two tanks in a 2/2,5m tank. So the D. maculatus will be the head residents of that tank. But I will do that only when I got the time and the money.
