    Thanks all. Great time, the coming home sucks! 18 hrs of the screaming baby heavy turbulence flight from hell! Then a huge snowstorm to navigate through to get home. 3.5 hrs for a 1 hr drive. But we’re safe & recuperating.

    A few quick vids;

    Look at the red in the caudal of this homaloptera.

    I met with Nonn on Teusday and he took me to the Katsetsart Uni Aquarium. A real nice collection and very well kept.With my sb-600 still out of commission I only had my S95 so pics suffered in the low light.

    Great pics Jim , love the Scaphognathops 3rd pic down /wacko.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:wacko:” border=”0″ alt=”wacko.gif” /> to be honest though I’ve had them for quite some time and though they hurtle around their tank I never see any damage ,they have a real cocky attitude and if I put my hand near the tank they will come and investigate , real characters

    There was another small display at the Katsetsart fisheries dept. Some beautiful schistura!

    s. waltoni in the foreground. Not sure about the other.

    This one was very shy. Not sure if it’s the same sp.? Beautifully marked!

    All of the underwater stuff in clear water came from here Matt. Same as last year.

    There was one pool that was 4 or 5 ft. deep but there were ony poropuntias & pristoleps in it. Most of the fish were in water 6″-18″ deep with good movement. I had trouble holding on & filming at the same time and where the schistura & homaloptera were there wasn’t enough water to completely submerge myself & the camera, very awkward!

    I took these readings in a riffle so they should be good. It felt much cooler to me, especially after a couple if hours in it. I was getting hypothermic and had to take breaks, drink coffee. My next purchase will be a shorty wetsuit.
