There’s a thread here on SF which shows real gladiator. It’s in the pics and movies section?

Incidentally, is it a quirk of the forum to change all words in the title into the first letter being a capital? I carefully wrote pi not Pi as I realised this with the Devario thread I started /rolleyes.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”” border=”0″ alt=”rolleyes.gif” /> I think updating the forum software might sort it out but no way we’re forking out for that when the new site is in the pipeline. Fixed the title now.

Very nice fish by the way Colin.

Hi Matt, thanks for that! You can use the pics for the KB if you want?

Rob, unfortunately these big Bettas come up very rarely and it’s such a shame. So far I have kept pi, pardalotos, renata and hipposideros (unfortunately the hippos died of a disease they brought with them) – I have a standing order for renata and any other waseri types with an exporter so just a waiting game

    hi
lol,pi are for the aagb auction, rub it in abit more col,lol
well ill just wait for you to breed them!which knowing you wont be long.
It is a shame that the larger bettas arnt in the trade more.
Is this because most of them are rare or is there no market for them?

Yeah that’s what encourages me plus experiences with Channa that naturally undergo seasonal changes.

Hi Herve, I cannot be at that meeting now but Paul is coming over. Could you please give him some renata for me and I’ll give him some pi for you?

    Cheers

Colin had been kind enough to give me a large pair of his Betta pi when I was leaving the UK. I must say anyone who sees them is overawed by the sheer size of a betta. But yes same problem that no one wants a brown fish. Specially when a spawn is almost 150 fish its hard to even pass them on for free as people here are still getting used to having a species tank for them.
