    Mark great pics in all your threads mate but I’ll reply here because I have a question. Are these hybrids by any chance?

    Not 100% sure Matt, they came into the UK via Eastern Europe as “Botia sp almorhae“.

    A couple of people said hybrid straight away but I wasn’t convinced and I think seeing them now its even more unlikely, I have seen some wild striata recently that have identical markings and for me there is to much variation in markings between them.

    I spoke to someone recently and he stated that if they were hybrids and artificially produced there would be more likelihood that up to 90% would be identical or nigh on identical.

    There is definite striata in there as you can see colours in the bands.
