I’m thinking of getting another 2ft tank that I’d like to aquascape with just moss and very low growing plants. Just some large rocks in the middle and let the moss grow on these. I don’t want any other plants.

I’ve had moss grow OK before with CO2, but my experience with CO2 is limited to the Tetra Plant CO2-Optimat and previous to that the old Nutrafin CO2 Natural Plant System, I preferred the Tetra one but often forget to squirt the CO2 every day. I’ve seen these glass diffusers but can’t work our how they actually work, and would it be suitable for a smallish tank?

If so what would I need? and Would it be suitable for an open top tank with a Luminaire?

    Hello Fishwife /smile.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:)” border=”0″ alt=”smile.gif” />
It basically sits inside the tank near the back or where it will have the flow running through it to disperse the co2 around the tank. I dont like putting many external links on here but if you google co2 diffuser you will see what i mean /wacko.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”” border=”0″ alt=”wacko.gif” />

Thanks for the info, I’m beginning to think I’m as well to stick with the EasyCarb,

The problem I’ve always found with CO2 is when to turn it off, I know my friend usually has hers running 24/7 and has a airstone that comes on a timer at nights, but I don’t really want to go down that road
