How can I create a fish species profile?

How can I create a fish species profile? I would like to make one for a cichlid species called the ”Parachromis Dovii”. There are many other species of cichlids I would love to create but how? Do I need a moderator’s permission?

Please bear in mind that we strive for accuracy and up to date information on every species profile and as such you should (generally) be able to provide a number of references to reinforce the integrity of your work.
