AdamParticipantThought I would kick this forum off. Looking for ideas.
I have an infamous 12g complete set up Nano cube with 2 x 24w power compact lights (14k) with the usual pump upgrades (additional MJ 1200) and a reverse lit refuge.
At the moment it is dry and just in need of a little inspiration to get it going.
I am open to suggestions especially a departure from the usual leather, Zooanthid and Mushroom mixes with the compulsory clown fish.

Sorry, it had to be done… *spank self*.
Have you had any further ideas since you posted this Ads? Sorry I can’t be much help; totally new to Marines myself (similar post to yours incoming soon!), but I’ll be reading your post avidly if you can keep us updated with what you go for.

MattKeymasterWhat about a North Sea rockpool tank? You could get all the livestock free down Cullercoats

SirkusMemberminor details Dunc. theres a slight problem with that plan, although i would be tempted to do it myself, its actually illegal to take stuff from the sea unless its ‘for scientific research’. pretty convenient loophole in my eyes.

MattKeymasterLol dohh. A rock pool-themed tank might still be cool though. He could do it tropical-style…

MattKeymasterGood work mate. Let us know your results with the chiller. Have been considering investing in one for a couple of my tanks and it’d be interesting to get some first hand experiences.
