    Well after god knows how many years I have a Cichlid swimming around one of my tanks again, my Dad bought some small Geophagus from Peir sometime back and this one had started to get bullied by the others so I took pity on him and put him in my 7ft tank :




    Not 100% sure which Geo it is and I cant remember what Neil was selling them as, I thought at first G. altifrons but not totally sure.

    Ooh very nice! Not G. altifrons though – I’m guessing G. abalios or G. winemilleri based on the lack of preopercular marking and size/position of midlateral spot. How many vertical body bars does it have Mark?
