BillTParticipantI just clicked on pictures in two different threads to see the larger version of the pictures and they did not display right.
The picture showed up as expected but the picture was covered with the same diagonal lines as the background usually is and I could not click it close button to close it. I had to hit the browser’s go back button to get out of that situation. I got this twice in a row on the recent Devario xyrops posting and then also on a separate posting on rosy loach as a test.

BallAquaticsParticipantHi Bill. I have the same problem, but only when using the Chrome browser. The images display fine using Opera or Firefox.

BillTParticipantHi Dennis,
I get this when using Firefox or Chrome. I don’t have Opera or IE.
I am using Mac OSX 10.7.5.

BallAquaticsParticipantYea, one of the joys of computing. LOL
I’m using Debian Release 7.1 (wheezy) 64-bit. I just got an update to the Linux version of Chrome and YouTube works again, but now we have this image problem.
I generally have multiple browsers installed so I can see how my website projects look in different browsers. We’ve got all these standards, but each browser picks & chooses the ones they wish to follow….. never a dull moment!

MattKeymasterI have the same issue in Chrome and have been unable to resolve it with my limited knowledge of the forum toolbox. Maybe @dunc knows more.

BallAquaticsParticipantIf I was to hazard a guess, I’d say it’s a problem with the WordPress plugin you are using. I’ve been using Ryan Hellyer’s “Simple Colorbox” with very good results. http://geek.ryanhellyer.net/products/simple-colorbox/

RüdigerParticipantHi guys, just discovered the same problem on the ipad using safari. When I switch to chrome on the pad, everything runs as it should. Just as a bit of info.

Graham RamsayParticipantSame here using firefox. IE 10 shows the diagonal bars over the top half of the screen only.

duncKeymasterI’ll report this as a bug.
In the meanwhile, as a workaround for Chrome, you can press the ESC key on your keyboard to remove the image. Doesn’t help with the diagonal bars though!

duncKeymasterAh never mind I’ve sorted it!

BillTParticipantWorks for me. (Firefox/OSX)
Well done Dunc!

BallAquaticsParticipantI’m back to having issues with viewing images. I’ve tried IE, FireFox, and Chrome on Win 7 and Chrome & FireFox on Debian Linux. The fly-out pops up, the screen gets lines on it and I have to hit the back button to continue. Trying to close the enlarged image has no effect.
