nehpets81ParticipantHi there, firstly I just have to say how much I appreciate the knowledge base you guys have put together for tropical fish, I would say it is probably the best such resource on the net.
Recently I have been trying to put together an Amazonian biotope using your fish profiles and in doing so I have noticed that some of the entries don’t seem to be categorised. For example, if I look under “Siluriforms” and then “Armoured Catfish” there are several pages of Corydoras (Eg C. Adolfoi) but not all are listed. For example, C. Sterbai is not there, but when I search for it, the page pops up. There are other examples of this which means that to view some of the profiles I already have to be aware of the fish and search for them. These profiles also don’t come up when I do an advanced search for “Brazil” for example. Is this something that you guys know about? If not, do you think it would be an easy fix?

georgeParticipantI noticed that too. Has it always been that way? Maybe fish profiles added after a certain date were not categorised?

nehpets81Participantyeah, they might be newer profiles perhaps. I think they may be lacking catagory tags or something like that.

MattKeymasterYep, the problem is the tags but the other way round, i.e., the older profiles don’t always appear in searches at the moment. Reason is the current version of the site is very different to the old one, and we have to go into every profile and make adjustments in order for them to show up in the KB searches. This is time consuming and we haven’t done them all yet.
Hoping to give the species indexing and searches an overhaul soon as the current system is a bit messy.
P.S. thanks for the kind words and welcome to the forum nehpets81.
