    Hi everybody.

About 10 days ago I got a pair from these nice fish. Totally adult size, the male has an amazing forefront compared to the female.

They are living with endler guppys in a 30 l tank.

As soon as I put pvc pipes in the tank, the male chose the one where he fits tightest and now I think he got the female to lay eggs.

I don´t think the larvae could survive with the endler´s since I´ve read that they are so small when hatching.

What do you suggest I could do? Move the pipe with the father to a new tank with the same water? Or move just the pipe, add methylene blue and strong air bubbling?

    Thanks in advance,

    Manuel…

Congrats on the spawning, they are lovely fish aren’t they, I would try and move the male and the eggs together as the male will fan the eggs until they hatch.

    Keep us updated

I’d take the first option Manuel. He’ll do a good job of looking after the eggs and you shouldn’t need chemicals either.

i would’nt add meth blue anyway, at the wrong strenght it can and will render the eggs infertile.
i’d go with the option of the tube and the mate into another tank.
