I have a female platy that is starting to go hollow in the belly. She is a virgin so i know she hasn’t released any fry. Water parameters are fine no bullying going on. Has any one got any idea what this could be. Thanks in advance.

It is assumed she is feeding? What food? If it’s a prepared food, is it “in date”? Has it been exposed to damp while in storage?

Also, you are certain that she has never been in a tank with a male? Even a related species male such as any of the swordtails?
